Ideas for a beach-wedding dress?
hey everyone, I am getting married in Sept/Oct 2012 and the ceremony is on the beach in Zante (greece)
I am looking for ideas on what kind of dress I should wear? I am into the whole big white dress thing, but dont know if it would be too much for the beach!
I am tall and curvy, and broad-ish so would want something with straps or a halterneck

Wear whatever dress you feel most comfortable in.
Some people still wear ballgown dresses to a beach wedding and some people wear dresses that are more plain and simple. I don’t believe there are “rules” that you need to abide by when it comes to wearing a wedding dress just because you are getting married on a beach.
Just make sure whatever you wear that you remember that it will most likely be hot that day and you will want to wear something that you will be comfortable in.
I’m 5’5 and kind of curvy – I got a sort of mermaid fitting dress.
I’m not sure what designers you have availabe to you, but my dress is by Mori Lee – VERY reasonable prices on very beautiful gowns.
Maggie Sottero has a very nice destination wedding line as well.
