On Sunday I attended at Duntroon’s Anzac Chapel the annual commemoration of the barbaric Japanese occupation of Rabaul, the removal of officers and nurses to prison camp in Japan, and the sinking of the Montevideo Maru with more than 1000 Australian prisoners, our greatest naval tragedy.
