Richmond, VA laws on parking for a wedding?
I decided to have my wedding reception in my backyard to save money on cost, however, there isn’t enough space at my house for people to park. I was thinking I could have everyone park on the side of the road, even have valet parking so guest didn’t have to walk so far, however my guest list is looking at around 150 and I don’t know how 70 cars every where would fly. Is there a permit I can get? any helpful tips or information would be great. thanks you guys
Due to fire code and strict parking code in VA, I suggest that you find an empty lot near by (school, club house, mall and have people be transported/car pool/walk back and forth from that location.
Residential areas in VA have very limited parking and the guest’s cars will be towed away or ticketed if parking in non-permitted areas.
