What do I do if one of my bridesmaids starts dating my ex?
One of my usherettes just began dating my ex. Shouldn’t be a big deal, but we dated for 4 years and almost got engaged. We broke up about a year ago and it didn’t go well, with him and his family attacking me and my character as little as 6 months ago. Now she is dating him and hasn’t ordered her dress for my June wedding. I have also made it clear that he is not welcome at the wedding. What do I do if she doesn’t order her dress soon?
You should call her ASAP. Tell her how excited you are becoming as your wedding day approaches. Spend some time in your usual manner of conversation. Let her know that you are “tying things together” in preparation for the “big day”. Something along the lines of ” I am checking with all of my bridesmaids to make sure their fittings went well, and their dresses have been ordered. I think you all will look so lovely, and I can’t wait to see…” I hope this works for you.

Addition: It would definitely matter to me if my spouse had an ex on the guest list. Perhaps her fiance would mind… I would.
