Wedding Usher Etiquette
February 12th, 2010
do you give a gift for the wedding if you are the best man?
B-Party was planned an executed well, and other duties at the wedding will be performed (usher, hold ring, etc). I’m not trying to be cheap but since I am the best man, my brother is getting married, do I get the couple a gift for the wedding? I would like to get something but I don’t want to step on tradition or anything like that. What is the normal etiquette for this?
Thank you in advance!
Etiquette dictates that yes, you most certainly should get your brither and his bried to be a gift. Make it special and sentimental, whatever it is. Coongrats on your new sis-N-law!
