Waiting for wedding night/ funny wedding night stories?
I was reading Every Young Woman’s Battle, and have fully decided to wait until marriage to have sex. I’m just curious, how was the actual wedding night after the ceremony and reception? Btw, the reason I, personally decided to wait is because I’m the kind of person that wants real, true love. I want a husband the will love me, and actually show it. Waiting with me would be the ultimate gift.
I commend you for making that decision, it can be very hard for a woman to stick to it when prince charming is right there and you feel like you’d do anything for him. However I agree with you that I think it’s the ultimate gift and I think waiting would make it all that more special. I personally didn’t but as I approached my wedding I wished that I had. To know that the person that you’re going to be with hasn’t been with anyone else and to know that they’re going to share such an intimate moment with only you would be incredible. Don’t get discouraged by the people that tell you it’s painful and so on and so forth, it’s different for every person. My first time was although not with my husband was extremely wonderful and I think being with a person who cares about you, who loves you and is tender makes all the difference and I think being with your husband for the first time would be just the right combination. I always hear people saying they were so tired after their wedding as well and I just don’t get it, when we left the reception, nothing could have kept us apart from each other, I was awakened with excitement at being married and being alone with my husband and I don’t think any amount of activity that day will lessen your amazing wedding night, it didn’t for me, but then again we’re so incredibly in love, maybe that make the difference, when you love someone so much nothing (not even tiredness) can keep you away from that moment!
