Wedding Speech Script
gangster reenactment of romeo&juliet?
This is for a presentation where I have to reenact the scene where Tybalt kills Mercutio then Romeo kills Tybalt. First I narrate, then my script is acted out. We have chosen to do gang culture in Vegas so everything’s spoken in ‘gangsta slang’ – I need help with what could be said after each narration: -
after the wedding (romeo) heads downtown to meet his posse at the drive-thru. (tybalt) cruises by..”yo romeo…” ???
winds window down to shoot romeo.
mercutio dives in to shield romeo and gets shot. (sound effects)
wanting revenge romeo takes his gun & drives after tybalt.
(or)he shoots at the car & tybalt which then explodes (which one?)
side by side they challenge each other…with the eventual killing of tybalt (audiobully’s- shot you down plays)
leading to romeo’s banishment.. need a more gangster-ish word for this!!
I hope someone can help with this, any ideas are welcome; I just need the speech sorted really, cheers.
