There are several things which cuckoo clocks always remind me of. They bring back some good memories. But with my cuckoo clock, no matter where I was, or what I was doing, when it was about to chime I would make a running dash to the clock and await the cuckoo. It sort of became a friend who’d come out and give me a special hello. The simple fact is, the attraction of cuckoo clocks never seems to fade. I’ve become a bit of a collector since the days I’ve been telling you about. As my wife will tell you, we’ve got cuckoo clocks in almost every room of the house. And what’s wrong with that I say.
