Wedding Speech Reception

November 23rd, 2010

wedding speech reception
I am looking for the order or flow of a wedding reception from arrival of the wedding party- speeches, etc?

I need to know from the begining of the reception, when to do the speeches, dinner, etc, etc

The bridal party and the bride and groom are announced and they enter the reception.
The next thing is usually the formal dances (bride/groom, groom/mother, bride/father, etc.)
Then it’s the toasts and dinner.
Towards the end of the night will be the bouquet/gartar toss and then the last thing is the cake cutting.
Whoever is coordinating your wedding will know this and if you’re having a DJ they also know all of this. You can change the order to be whatever you want. We didn’t do this exact order.
