Irish Wedding – Help?
Lads,
I am due to get married on Friday (yippie) but wanted help with speech protocol. (E.g. who thanks who) Don’t want to offend anyone especially the in laws

If you want to do a quick, basic thank you speech, include the following people (in order):
- Your parents for being there, helping out, supporting, etc
- Your best man, groomsmen etc, for supporting & being your best mates
- Your bride’s attendants for doing all they did to make your bride’s day special
- Guests for coming and sharing your special day
- Your officiant for his/her kind services
- Your bride’s parents for giving you the honor of sharing your life with their daughter,
- AND LASTLY, your BRIDE, for finding some speck of something to love enough to live with you for the rest of your life.
Heck, if you pretty it up a bit, I’ve just written your speech FOR you!!
