Wedding Speech Friendship
are there any “wedding toasts” in Shakespeare’s plays? What about weddings in Shakespeare’s plays?
I am giving a toast at a wedding reception in a Shakespearian theater, and would like to add an authentic quote to a speech that I already have planned. Any help would be great. Any Shakespeare quotes of friendship and love or advice about marriage would be great too.
I thought of “taming of the shrew” but it might not be too well received (he he).
