Wedding Scrolls Invitations
what would U like on your wedding DVD?
I’m breaking off from my business partner and starting my own wedding video business. I want to aim at a younger crowd. (20′s and some modern early 30′s).
What would make you say WOW! if you saw it on your video.
EXAMPLE: I scan the wedding invitation and have it scroll up the screen with a stylish animated background. The invitation is narrated by a woman with a sensitive, loving voice.
Here are some starter questions/ comments:
How long of a video will you sit through and watch more than a couple of times(remember it’s your Wedding)?
I’m scrapping talking head guest interviews-is it a mistake?
I’ve gone to 16X9 screen size (movie shape). If you felt I was too expensive would you settle for a cheaper package at 4×3 size (old TV shape)?
Most video packages go for $1,200 to $3,000. What you consider too high of a package price?
Two cameras with more to see, or one camera with a stylish highlight type video?
I probably wont be too much help but some of the videographers in our area do highlight reels at the end of the reception that I think is neat. They also do music videos that I REALLY want. I also want the head guest interviews, so I wouldn’t scrap that. I think it will be cool to look back on and hear what people say to us even if they all say the same “Congratulations” speech. I probably wouldn’t pay $3000+ for the video.
