Scrapbook Clubs – The Basics

Are you interested in those scrapbook clubs you see online?  Typically they work like any other monthly club – you sign up, pay a fee, and every month you receive some supplies in the mail for your scrapbooking.  Usually these supplies follow a particular theme that’s appropriate for that time of the year, such as autumn themes in September and October and holiday themes in December.Some scrapbook clubs are more basic and general, and they send kits that can fit any theme.

Why would you want to consider joining one of these scrapbook clubs?  There are a few things to consider.  For one, you may not live near a scrapbook supply store and may not have time to shop online for disney scrapbooking supplies.  If you sign up for a club, you’re going to get a kit or some supplies every month without having to take time to pick everything you need for your hobby.  Those scrapbook clubs are also like a nice gift you get in the mail every month.You might even forget you have a kit coming and when you open your mailbox, you’ll have a very nice surprise waiting for you!It is also helps you not to neglect your hobby, which is so easy to do when you need to go shopping for scrapbook supplies and page kits each month.

When shopping for scrapbook clubs, you need to consider a few things.  If they do follow themes throughout the year, will you be able to use those kits?  For example, what if you don’t particularly celebrate the holidays?  If so you may want to consider something more generic.  Also, can you see the kits that they sent to members in previous months?  It’s good to check out the materials they provide so you can be sure you’ll enjoy them.  Most scrapbook clubs are run by experts who are very good at putting together designs and kits, but it’s still a good idea to make sure you’ll appreciate all the materials you’ll get so check out their previous shipments if you can. It’s not just scrapbooking kits, because sometimes they even have kits for card making projects.

Scrappers who join scrapbook clubs are usually very glad they made the decision.  It’s a great way to get new materials without spending hours shopping.  You may also get kits and supplies that you might not have picked out for yourself otherwise, which might make your hobby all that much more enjoyable as you try new materials.Also, it’s a good way to get scrapbooking paper crafts.
