boy or girl? twins? could someone give me a little info?
ok i’m about 18 wks and i go in on wed. to find out for sure what i’m having. i know some of the old wives tales are just myths but every quiz or whatever i take is just 50/50. really havn’t had to much morning sickness, but i’ve been craving a lot of fast foods lately.i want to eat all the time now and never weighing over 100lbs in my life being at 110 seems like i’ve gained more than i should? i also was wondering about the chance of twins since my mom is an identical twin and twins run in my b/f’s family also. i’m just really anxious to know.
identical twins are an act of God, they are not hereditary. and as for your boyfriend, his family history doesn’t matter. the twin gene is carried and passed through the mother’s side, but again identical twins are not hereditary, so your chance of having twins is no higher than anyone elses. you have had to had an ultrasound before now…what did that show? it is possible that one could be hiding behind the other, but it’s unlikely. you can expect to gain extra weight. 15-20 pounds is the norm with one, but that can vary and it’s different with every pregnancy. just be happy with the blessing God gives you, no matter what it is.
