Do you feel a Reception Card Holder is necessary?
We are contemplating buying one. It is affordable (20.00) but just curious if it is necessary or helpful? Or just a waste of money. Thanks! If you think you’ll be getting alot of cars then they’re worth it- even though etiquitte discourages bringing gifts and cards to the reception anymore- but If you’re creative enough and brave enough you can make your own for less then half the cost. Plus, this way the options are limitless- my personal favorite was a couple who used a stack of cardboard suitcases (cutting holes in the bottom of the top suitcase, top and bottom of the middle, and top of the bottom suitcase so the cards fell all the way to the bottom) or you could use plain hatboxes which can be bought at just about any craft store and stack them to look like a cake. Google “DIY Wedding Card Boxes” and you’ll come up with plenty of ideas.
