Every bride will want her wedding favors to be unique to her wedding, however this is only really possible by the way in which you present and package them. Make your own scented sachets using scraps of fabric and scented fillings like lavender seeds or rose buds. You could also embroider your names and wedding date onto them.

Rather than using a picture of the two of you, why not take a photograph of your wedding venue at a particular time of day or write the word thank you on the ground in a novel way – for instance using pebbles on the beach. You can insert your photographs into coasters, mats, key fobs or fridge magnets.

Edibles are always crowd pleasers so why not make your own cookies or cupcakes. Alternatively try your hand at making chocolates or other confectionary such as fudge. Present them in pretty glass jars or tins.
