Wedding Lasso Prayer
People don’t see my marriage as real (under God), because I got married by a wedding officiant …?
The officiant is ordained under the Universal Life Church.
I feel sad and, now, doubtful….
However, towards the end of the ceremony we said a Blessing of marriage prayer, and when I closed my eyes I felt something in my heart and something like a lasso being tied around me and my now husband.
Is there anybody out there with knowledge concerning officiants?
I didn’t want to get legally married, yet. I only had a religious ceremony, because I wanted to get married under God’s eyes.
You can always check his credentials…you can be ordained through there by an email sent, it isn’t difficult. Look at your license he marked clergy. Your married even if you didn’t do this in a church…the last people i married we did it on a beach…it was really pretty even tho beach air gives me a migraine i suffered through it. Im a nondenominational minister i have the title Reverend in front of my name, so ask him to see his credential’s if you feel something is wrong.
