Wedding Destinations Abroad
Me and my partner are planning on getting married abroad in 2009. Any nice destinations?
It will be a small wedding – might even just be the two of us!
I live in Wales, UK. Me and my partner have been together for 6 1/2 years. Due to personal circumstances none of my family (brides) will be coming to the wedding. My partners immediate family have expressed an interest in coming along – So it will be a very small wedding!
I was thinking of Cuba, Hawaii, Jamaica but am unsure whether the prices will be too high for my partners family.
I really fancy a beach wedding but dont really want to be stuck on our honeymoon with a group.
Well its hard to say as you have not said where you are from and how much money you have got to spend so its pointless just listing loads of nice places ive been to if you dont have much cash…. any more info would be nice.

As for your first three choices of Cuba, Hawaii, Jamaica i can only go from personal experience of info from friends. Hawaii is expensive to get to…. Cuba is one place i want to go and have only heard good things but not for getting married. As for Jamica, my girlfriend used to work for Virgin and went there quite a few times and did not have one good thing to say about it.
Ive been to a few places for my friends weddings in the last six years.
Thailand and Mauritius were the best two. Thailand was a great place, great people and cheap fantastic food. Phuket was the place we spent most of the holiday and i would recommend it to anyone. But if there are just the two of you and you just want a romantic holiday and lie on a beach then Mauritius might be best for you…. not that you cant do anything its just a bit more romantic…. if you want to know more then email me.
