Candy Buffet decorations for a wedding?
We’ve bought several glass vases of different shapes and sizes to use for a candy buffet at a wedding. Right now, we’re decorating them with ribbon and etching designs such as hearts on them with a kit. We have letter designs, however, and wish to etch quotes or words onto some of the longer vases.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a short quote (possibly relating to love, marriage, candy, or a combination) or would using a single word on each (such as “delicious”) sound good for decorations?
Thank you all for the ideas. I’m going to let the bride go ahead and pick the best answer later on, but to let you guys know, I have about 10-15 vases to work on, and I think I may end up using all of your suggestions!!! Thank you!
Using a short phrase or single words are both great ideas. You could try splitting up a phrase and etching just a few words on each vase. If you have a lot of vases, choose a longer phrase; if few vases, use a shorter phrase. For example:
“Hearts filled with joy,
lives filled with love”
is a sweet and simple quote. And if your wedding is lighthearted you could add, “Vases filled with candy!”
