For that longest time I would get razzed through all my friends for playing method, way, way too many hours of Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar when i could be actually getting good located at real guitar. But whenever I practiced using a real guitar, I was missing all those pretty colors and gadgets that make the rock band/guitar idol franchises so hugely popular. That’s why I nearly had to change my pants when I heard they were developing a guitar pro controller: the finest of both worlds. I opted to go with a cheaper Mustang controller rather than dishing out a good deal more for the authentic Squier controller, which I believe is a good decision. The steepest part of the learning curve is probably learning to successfully read and play the scrolling tablature without looking down and a fingering too much. But if I play a song I know or practice for several extra minutes, the play is really realistic. I am supremely happy with our purchase (although I was pretty miffed their realized the guitar pro upgrades for the purpose of downloaded songs are extra, but option nature of the beast, I suppose), and I will enjoy many happy hours of playing. The strings aren’t quite as tight as being a real guitar, but not hard to get used to at all. Having all the fret buttons an identical width also makes it difficult to grasp which string you’re playing on everyday, but I even look at this slight disadvantage in the form of learning experience, i. e. if it is possible to master songs with this controller, playing the song for a real guitar will be that faster and easier. In the future, I may even choose chip in for the Squier controller, but until then I am shredding away on my Mustang.
This Rock Band 3 Guitar Controller is extremely much fun! I purchased it for my better half for his birthday. He owns an authentic guitar but has always had more fun playing Rockband. His real guitar is slow to educate yourself on but now with this pro guitar he could be loving learning! I recommend this guitar for anyone who would like to learn to play and loves Games! a BIG THUMBS UP!!! This guitar might revolutionize music reading as we discover it!
