I need help planing a wedding..?
Ok me and my soon to be husband are originally from Texas he is from Abilene,tx and im from the panhandle and we are wanting to get married in Abilene . Does any one know of any really neat but cheap places in Abilene,Texas to get married?
you can rent the festival gardens at the zoo for just 200 dollars and that includes use of the kitchen..from 8 am to 11 pm call 325 676 6217
or you can use the rose park recreation center which seats up to 75 people for 150 dollars from 9 am to 12 midnight, kitchen included. 325 676 6217
you can also get married in the civic center….they have lots of meeting rooms avaiable for small to medium weddings….and rent is from 100 dollars to 135. call 325 676 6211
the star of texas bed and breakfast is a nice quaint little place which offers very charming weddings. they do elopement packages where they provide the minister, the place, cake and champagne for two for only 189 dollars. they also have full weddings and receptions for guests starting at around 1500, depending upon what you want. they are located about 70 miles from abilene though so you would have to drive there. http://www.star-of-texas.com/elopement.html
if you want to go to el paso, there is a wedding officiant there who offers great prices and arranges your location for you, many of which are free. she charges about 100 dollars to perform the ceremony and if you want her to bring and set up chairs for 50 guests and aisle runner, with rose petals and all that, it is 500. http://www.weddedblisselpaso.com/
