Where in North Jersey can I get this kind of cake?
Hello All, I live in North Jersey (the Metro Area) . We are getting married next October in the Venetian in Garfield, NJ and I need to find a baker that can make me this FAB cake that I saw on TV..hehe. My wedding is only 100 guests so a 3 tier would be sufficient, however this was a 5 tier cake.. I only want it for decor purposes so I need a baker whom can make 2-3 of those tiers out of cardboard, wood, or whatever. It is not for $$ reasons, it is for waste reasons. That cake will go to waste, but I have to have it for decor reasons!!
Anyone know of a baker whom would accommodate such a request?? I went to Carlos in Hoboken (from my area), he is amazing!! So happy for him and his success with his tv show and unfortunately he won’t can’t do it.
So any suggestions or ideas would be helpful!!

cardboard, styrofoam, concrete.. I don’t care what kind of material they use for the fake layers..
Any baker should be able to decorate “duds”, they come pre-made and are made out of foam, just take your picture into some local bakers and tell them you want the bottom 2 layers to be dummy layers and they will know what you are talking about.
