Traditional Wedding Schedule

What is the traditional scheme of an American wedding? ?
I would like to know, what a traditional American (US) wedding looks like. Bridesmaids (how many, what do they do), best men, the schedule (what comes first, what’s next etc.), traditional menus, in what months of the year can/cannot the wedding be etc. As many details as possible pls. I’m interested because I just found out how the US wedding styles start to influence European weddings and it is very interesting. Thank you in advance. If you have any good websites on this subject, pls let me know.
American weddings are very light in comparison to weddings of other cultures, where they really take the ceremony as a religious sacrament and not as a show.
It only lasts 15 minutes, the officiant is someone from the city hall instead of a member of a church .
These guys are very prone to tell jokes. It seems that they were hired to amuse the audience. As if that were their task. God is actually secondary or non existent during the whole ceremony.
During the speeches everybody tries to humiliate the bride and groom the best they can. It’s so ridiculous.
No wonder the 60% of divorce rate.
