Outdoor Wedding Michigan
I need an outdoor place for a wedding (40-50 guests) around hesperia, michigan. ?
the reception is at the american legion in hesperia and we have a very tight budget. We’re looking anywhere from hesperia to muskegon for the wedding… Parks, beaches, houses (with parking). I live out of state and its very hard to plan a wedding without being right there. Thank you for your interest, and i hope we can come up with something soon.

in muskegon, there is meinert park which has a shelter that seats about 40 or so. it rents for 45 dollars a day but be sure to ask what the parking fee or park entrance per car fee is so that you can cover that for your guests. http://co.muskegon.mi.us/parks/meinert.htm#fees

and then there is twin lakes park which has a lodge they rent for 80 dollars and a shelter for 45 dollars. http://co.muskegon.mi.us/parks/twinlake.htm
if it were me, i would go with the lodge at twin lakes because parks are public places and even when you rent a shelter to have your ceremony, other people will still be milling about. that’s the draw back when you use a public park. they are cheap to rent, but not very private.
