music for wedding ceremony?
i’m having an outdoor wedding ceremony at a gazebo.
the ceremony will only be about 15 minutes long so i’m having the guests stand. not important information, just thought i’d throw it in.
i need to know how to have my wedding march, the unity candle song and the exit song played at the ceremony without things being corny… for example, someone standing there holding a boombox. that just seems so cheap to me.
the thing is – - we don’t have a lot of money for this so i need to get these songs from the internet and put them on a cd but how do we go about playing the music so it’s not gay and cheap looking?
Do you have any friends or family who play guitar or piano? If so, enlist their help! That is virtually free and SO classic ( = Live music is always a great thing! If you know more than one musician, see if they can work together even.
I feel an iPod or CD IS inexpensive looking, there’s no way around it. However, if you have to I think they make little speaker system things for them that look a lot nicer than just a boombox, like you said.
