What a Grooms Speech Should Include

The marriage party is the next group to be thanked. The best man, maid of honor, ring bearer and brides maids should all be introduced by name and a mention of their support throughout the wedding planning should be highlighted as each member of the party is introduced. The groom should give a special thanks to his best man. A humorous, but suitable story should be shared and some reason as to the reasons why you chose him as your beast man and why your friendship is so significant should be included.
Finally the groom should turn to his new bride and tell her how much he loves and adores her, telling her how much he is anticipating spending the remainder of his life with her. Most importantly, thank her for saying yes when you asked her to marry you. The groom’s speech is supposed to be from the heart, so if at this stage it sounds very emotional, so be it. Share some stories about how you met and when you knew that she was the one for you.
If your bride is not going to give her own speech, where she would thank her bridesmaids and maid of honor, then traditionally the groom’s speech should end with a toast to the maid of honor and the bridesmaids.
