Because gazeboes are usually located with a greater location, such as a botanical garden, lush park, or a beach front, there is very little you need to do to make it more beautiful than it already is. Small decorative white lights will twinkle as the sun sets and continue to add to the natural romance of your venue. An alternative that is increasing in popularity are Chinese paper lanterns; these can be purchased in clean white or in a color to match your theme. Many retail department stores carry strings garden lights in many designs to choose from.
If your gazebo is beach front, hurricane lights with tall pillar candles add ambiance to the fresh, salty air. Tulle or gauze material can be draped around the gazebo to mimic the cotton ball clouds of summer, and carried throughout the reception on the guests’ chairs to add another layer of softness to your location. Always use nature’s color scheme when you are able. Bring in the bright aquamarine and turquoise of water to contrast nicely against the soft white material.
