My hair is the same as yours. I literally just dyed it today, I went for a dark chestnutty colour. However, don’t go light! It messes up curly hair, trust me. If you go red, you’ll be called Annie. So, cherry black or brown would be lovley. Cherry black curls = wowowow. <3
