Indian Intercaste marriage..procedure..pls help!?
I am a roman catholic and my wouldbe, a hindu. we both belong to India(South) and are planning to wed early next year. Would u be kind enough to let us know if our marriage would be accepted by the church or does my fiance need to convert inorder for it to be accepted?I am not at all keen on asking her to convert as its never in my best interests to bring her a change for the cause of man made boundaries.A court marriage is always a viable channel.
We r however vexed and worried that our marriage may have an implication on my parents and their participation in the church hence after.We are doing our bit of home work in this sphere but your input would also be of high value to us.

well i think she needs to be converted if u wanna have the wedding in church but i think u can discuss that with the priest of the church… mayb he can help you out…
a court marriage doesnt matter bout ur religion… erm i suggest u talk to the priest and your parents…
